We had a wonderful turn out for our 'Afternoon Delight' event. People snapped up the savings on Red, White and Pink yarns. Everyone who attended 'The Love Triangle' shawl class got a great start on their project and from what I could see the finished products will be beautiful.
Check out this Smilebox Photo Creation of the event. It takes a few moments to load but worth it!
We are in the planning stages for another event so stay tuned by signing up for e-mail notifications of new postings or become a follower of this blog. Either option is available on the right side of the page.
Have a great day and don't forget your fiber!

Forest Path Shawl
In June, a group of us got together at Lori's to start a summer project. Lead by Athena, we all casted on to make the Forest Path Shawl. (the best pictures I have found on a finished Forest Path Shawl can be found here)
The start was a little slow going, getting comfortable with the pattern, the charts, and some of us had to also get acquainted with lace weight yarn as well......but everyone seems to be progressing each of us at our own pace.
After the first tier the shawl starts to take shape and you can see the different panels start to work together.
Athena is now working on the border and on the home stretch. Seeing a Forest Path Shawl in person is enough to keep us all motivated and inspired to continue our journey.
Stay tuned for updates and postings of finished projects. This is a project that is engaging, at times challenging, still very rewarding as it starts to develop through your hands.
